WHAT THE CBT ENTAILS CBT is designed for people who have never ridden before, and it is NOT a test!, All we are looking for is that you reach a basic safety standard at the end of the session.
There is a small amount of theory involved with the CBT but most of it is hands on bike riding.
To sit your CBT (and indeed throughout your training) you are required to have a provisional motorcycle licence.
Please ensure your licence is up to date and appropriate.
If you have a photocard style of licence, you must provide us with both the photo part and counterpart.
Do not hesitate to ask if you are unsure.
We will start you at the very beginning and work in stages, and at the end of the time off road if we feel you are up to it then we shall take you out on the road, where you will be accompanied and assessed by an instructor who will have radio contact with you.
WHAT OTHER SERVICES WE PROVIDE
We offer advanced courses to suit the needs of the rider who already holds their full licence.
These courses can be taken either as half, 1 or 3 day sessions and accommodation is available.
The 3 day course would make an ideal short break for the enthusiastic biker who wishes to brush up on their skills or who wishes to pass their RoSPA Advanced Test. Training is carried out on the fabulous roads amidst the stunning scenery of the highlands. post test courses We do post test courses for you to brush up on whichever skills you wish to improve be it motorways, country roads or town riding. Half hour introduction to biking BASIC MAINTENANCE COURSE
Due to the introduction of the "show me / tell me" at the start of the practical test and also due to demand, we have launched a new course. The course is designed to cover all aspects of simple bike maintenance such as how to adjust chains, how to find simple faults and also answer any queries you may have. The course will run on a Saturday, so please feel free to enquire when our next available dates are. scooter familiarisation
Picture the scene!, you have booked a holiday and wish to make use of the scooters you know are on hire at your destination. Never having ridden one before, but having full entitlement on your licence, you are unsure what to do. Well, your problem is solved!
Come to us and do a scooter familiarisation session. We will spend two hours with you, in which we will cover a small amount of theory and then you will be riding the scooter in our secure, off road yard.
We will then take you on the road for to give you an idea how to deal with traffic. | | | | | | | Accommodation

We use the products on all our machines and thoroughly recommend them! CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES We have a selection of clothing and accessories available , these include Rukka clothing (as worn by Sara), neck tubes, cargo nets and valve covers. Test Centres - We can facilitate tests in Paisley and Greenock, and have been known to travel as far as the South West of Glasgow when really necessary -
16 year olds - Sixteen year olds are catered for also, as we have a 50cc automatic scooter, also ideal for those not sure about gears -
Fees - Our fees include helmet hire and insurance.
